Environmental Foundation of Jamaica invites proposals for grant funding 2024

The Environmental Foundation of Jamaica (EFJ) has a call for proposals out, under its Forest Conservation Fund and the Special Climate Change Adaptation Fund (SCCAF). Proposals from eligible non-governmental organisations must be received by email or delivered to EFJ’s address not later than 3:30 p.m. on Friday, March 29, 2024. Please see full details below on the areas to be considered and other criteria. The applications must be in a specific format.

Grants under the Forest Conservation Fund will encompass Alternative Livelihoods; Climate Change Resilience; Community Based Conservation; Eco-Tourism Development; Invasive Species Control; Research and Monitoring; and Water Resources Protection.

Under the SCCAF, proposals relating to Climate Smart Building/Sustainable Building Practices; Climate Smart Agro-businesses; Climate Resilient Cropping Systems; Renewable Energy Systems for Increasing Resilience to Climate Change; and Water Management will be considered.
