I found this week’s Photo Challenge a little trickier than usual. Not that I have any problems with sweetness. In fact, my sweet tooth has often got the better of me. I tried to think of things that didn’t necessarily taste sweet, but just simply were sweet – to look at, to smell. Her are a few pictures I dug up (I don’t take many “food porn” pictures, so I had to dig around for these)…
What could be sweeter, and more sinful, than a chocolate cake? This was a wedding anniversary celebration, at The Blue House – a lovely guest house in Ocho Rios – a few years ago. (My photo)
A different kind of sweetness… Two little girls at the Trench Town Reading Centre. (My photo)
Here’s another little girl, by the name of Stephanie… That look says “So many sweet things – which shall I choose?” At Cafe Blue in Irish Town. (My photo)
Natural sweetness. During a memorable visit to a small village in Sri Lanka, last November. (My photo)
There is absolutely nothing like the sweet scent of an English rose. This was at my sister’s house in Sussex… in the September sun. (My photo)
And here’s a sweet display of products from Grenada. Did I tell you how wonderful their chocolate is? I became seriously addicted… (My photo)
