A friend is a comfortable space. A space where you can just be “yourself” – around that person, animal or thing. For some people their best friend is their radio; for others, a pet. For me, it’s my husband. But friends can take many shapes and forms… Here are a few.
Here I am with a special friend, Catherine Burden (left) – a Canadian blogger, whom I met online. Thanks WordPress! Catherine and her husband visited Negril three years ago, and we finally met up. This was a special day!
This little boy at Trench Town Reading Centre was taking a peek at an interesting book.
If you are a fisher or a sailor, the sea can be your best friend. Here is a fisherman in North Cornwall, England, on calm waters. (My photo)
Hey! Friends can get rough. Here’s Carlyle from Deaf Can Coffee, caught in a head lock. (My photo)
Friends are generous and kind. UNICEF Jamaica donated a bus to Eve for Life Jamaica back in 2013, and we were so grateful. Here is Eve’s Executive Director Patricia Watson at the wheel, and then head of UNICEF Jamaica Rob Fuderich ready to go for a ride. (My photo)
Friends can be competitive too. Here are three young spellers at NannyBee in Nannyville recently. They were all very sportsmanlike. (My photo)
