I’m pretty late with this week’s Weekly Photo Challenge: Earth. When I am exploring natural places in Jamaica, I often look down at my feet. This is where you often find curious, small and often beautiful objects, scattered randomly and yet somehow in perfect order. Here are a few examples (all the photos are taken by me):
The strange (completely natural) colours of the swamp water among the mangroves at Salt River, Clarendon.
A single red leaf on a path in Portland.
A lovely, almost luminous mushroom of some sort in our yard in Kingston.
A thick carpet of brown leaves under a huge tree in Hope Gardens (unfortunately I do not know the name of the tree, but it’s an unusual one).
Dry leaves on a tree root, Somerset, St. Thomas.
