I have a friend in Jamaica -good hope – who is in desperate need of your care. His liver has failed and is receiving chemotherapy. He is not doing well.
I am searching for desperate help, foremost would be a liver transplant.
Can you help ź PLEASE?
please let us know one way or another. Thank you, and blessings in your work.
I am so very sorry to hear about your friend. I don’t think liver transplants are done in Jamaica. It would have to be overseas and therefore very expensive. The best thing to do might be to find a sponsor – a charity, either in Jamaica or elsewhere – that could fund his treatment. There is the Jamaica Medical Foundation: http://www.jamaicamedfoundation.com and several DIASPORA organisations that may be able to help – several focus on health. There is also the Issa Trust Foundation – but I believe its main focus is children’s health. I cannot think of much else but I think this would be the answer.
Thank you kindly. I will follow-up on this lead.
Again, Blessings always.
You’re welcome. I actually checked with the Ministry of Health, and we are not able to do liver transplants in Jamaica, yet – as I guessed. I really hope that there is some help out there for your friend, obviously urgently needed…
