I know this is really symbolic, but I think we can all manage to turn off our lights (electricity?) for just one hour - beginning at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 23, 2013. Do spread the word! I would like to use the time to meditate quietly on the state of our planet, and what we as humans are doing to it. And if any Jamaican organization - private sector, NGO, even government - would like to coordinate this effort, that would be wonderful. Just one hour, remember... Let's do it! Thanks to fellow blogger and concerned Jamaican citizen Heather Pinnock and to Hill 60 Bump for this blog post.
